Billing Policy
Trial, subscription, cancellation, refund, and chargeback rules for PolySocket.dev.
Last updated: May 14, 2026Billing overview
This Billing Policy applies to PolySocket.dev trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes. By starting checkout, starting a trial, or buying a plan, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide according to the selected plan.
Card-required free trial
- The Weekly plan may include a 3-day free trial and requires a valid payment card.
- Unless canceled before the trial ends, the trial converts to the paid Weekly plan and renews weekly until canceled.
- Trial access begins only after Stripe Checkout is completed and the account is provisioned.
One trial only
- Free trials are limited to one per person, business, team, payment card, Stripe customer, email, device, IP address, network, and related account group.
- Creating multiple accounts, using multiple emails, rotating devices, changing networks, using aliases, or otherwise trying to obtain additional trials is abuse.
- Abusive trial attempts may result in immediate cancellation, API-key revocation, WebSocket access revocation, denial of future trials, and account blocking.
Cancellation
- You can cancel from the dashboard or Stripe billing portal where available.
- Cancellation is immediate. It does not wait until the end of a trial, week, month, billing period, or invoice period.
- When cancellation is processed, PolySocket.dev immediately marks the account canceled, revokes active API keys, and removes WebSocket access.
Refund policy
- PolySocket.dev is a digital API and data-feed service. Except where required by law or where PolySocket.dev confirms a billing error, payments are non-refundable once access has been provisioned or used.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for canceled weekly, monthly, scale, custom, or enterprise subscriptions.
- We do not refund because a customer did not use all available wallet capacity, did not build a profitable bot, did not receive desired trading outcomes, forgot to cancel, or decided the service was not a fit after access was available.
- If you believe a charge is a billing error, contact hello@polysocket.dev before filing a card dispute so we can investigate.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
- A chargeback or payment dispute after account access, API-key access, trial access, or WebSocket access may be treated as abuse unless caused by a confirmed billing error.
- When a chargeback or dispute occurs, we may immediately suspend or terminate the account, revoke API keys, block new accounts, preserve logs, and submit evidence to Stripe, the card network, payment processor, or issuing bank.
- Evidence may include account email, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, checkout acceptance, invoices, timestamps, login and API-key activity, WebSocket access records, IP/device hashes, cancellation status, and policy acceptance.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, customers responsible for improper disputes agree to reimburse PolySocket.dev for disputed amounts, chargeback fees, dispute response costs, collection costs, and reasonable administrative costs.
Failed payments and unpaid accounts
- Failed, reversed, refunded, disputed, or unpaid charges may result in immediate suspension or cancellation.
- We may deny future trials, require prepayment, require enterprise terms, or refuse service to accounts associated with prior disputes, failed payments, abuse, or unpaid balances.
